Golf Slice

The golf slice is the most frustrating shot for golfers. In order to avoid a golf slice, it is very important to understand why it occurs to work towards curing it.

A slice is a shot that spins off to the right (for right handed player) or off to the left (for left handed player). A golf slice occurs when the golf club advances towards the ball from an outside-to-inside path. An outside-to-inside path is one where the club approaches the ball from the right (for righties) and then cuts in and moves well to the left after the ball.  It is the most common mis-hit. Very often the grip is the source of the trouble. Make sure you hold the club properly. There are various golf slice ebooks and anti-slice training aids to help you avoid a slice.
